Teaching in the Master's programme Molecular Biomedicine

We currently offer two modules in the Molecular Biomedicine Master's programme, one in the winter semester and one in the summer semester.

The 3KP module "Introduction to Anatomy" (gsw270) takes place in the winter semester. This module is suitable for students in their first year of the Master's programme and teaches important anatomical basics of the main systems of the body. In addition to the lectures, we work with the virtual dissection table Anatomage in the seminar to make the positional relationships and the course of the structures tangible, and organs from slaughtered animals are also dissected on two special dates. The knowledge gained in this way is used to solve tasks and small clinical cases in the seminar. The language of instruction is English.

In the summer semester, we offer the 6KP module "Cellular and subcellular function" (gsw 020). We look at the structure, function and selected pathologies of cells, basic tissues and selected organs. In the seminars, we work partly on the microscope, but the students also present current articles that complement the topics of the lecture. The language of instruction is English!
