Projekt A2 - Objektbasierte Wahrnehmungsmodelle für komplexe Szenen
In komplexen realitätsnahen Hörszenen kann erwartet werden, dass Menschen Informationen von mehreren Schallquellen je nach Dauer, Spektrum, räumlicher Position und Nachhall nur suboptimal extrahieren und vergleichen können. Ziel dieses Projekts ist die Entwicklung eines Modells der Hörwahrnehmung und Audioqualität in komplexen Szenen unter Berücksichtigung einer perzeptuellen Zerlegung der Szene in akustische Objekte.
Das Modell soll dabei die erfolgreichen Konzepte der energetischen und Modulations- Maskierung durch Informationsmaskierung erweitern, um i) die Hörwahrnehmung unter realistischen Bedingungen besser zu verstehen und um ii) instrumentelle Audioqualitäts- und Wahrnehmungsvorhersagen zu ermöglichen.
