ICUR 2025

In 2025, the University of Oldenburg took part in the International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR) for the first time. ICUR is a globally networked conference that gives students the chance to present their research projects to an international audience, both live and online, transcending time zones and national borders.

For the University of Oldenburg, taking part was an important step in promoting international research expertise among students. Students are given the opportunity not only to present their scientific work in a global context, but also to gain valuable experience in intercultural exchange and scientific communication in English.

ICUR is organised by Monash University (Australia) and the University of Warwick (UK), among others, and is open to students of all disciplines. Oldenburg's participation in ICUR 2025 highlights the university's commitment to international collaboration and innovative educational approaches.
