University Clinic for Internal Medicine – Oncology and Haematology
The University Clinic for Internal Medicine - Oncology and Haematology at Oldenburg Hospital consists of an outpatient clinic with a day clinic for outpatient therapies and three wards for more complex diagnostic and therapeutic measures. The clinic team treats around 1,500 patients per year.
The University Hospital's spectrum includes the treatment of all tumour diseases and all benign and malignant blood diseases of adulthood. Immunological, hormonal and cytostatic agents or blood stem cell transplants are used. Treatments include both standard therapies and innovative therapy protocols, including international concepts.
The clinic is a member of the Regionales Tumorzentrum Weser-Ems e.V. association. There are also close co-operations with various university hospitals; radiotherapy treatments, for example, are carried out at the Radiotherapy Clinic at Pius-Hospital Oldenburg.
