This team deals with supporting the so-called non-professorial academic staff. This includes both the staff members that are primarily engaged with teaching (LfbA) and the research assistants, for whom different challenges arise depending on the job constellation or qualification situation. Such are issues related to permanent or non-permanent contracts, employment as part of the doctoral or postdoctoral phase, work with teaching obligations or in a research project - the non-professorial academic staff serves as a crucial ingredient for the success of higher education at universities and therefore needs continuous support.

The Staff Council works on structural changes in progress (e.g. amendment of the Higher Education Act of Lower Saxony, changes related to contract length etc.) and offers individual counseling as well (e.g. on conflicts with directors or overload situations). Needless to mention, we do this in a cooperative manner, involving the executive board and other university members. We look forward to being approached by you.
