Note on photographs

Photographs will be taken at the InfoMarket and during the opening ceremony, which we would like to use for reporting purposes (press releases, university website, LinkedIn, Instagram), for documentation and information purposes and to promote the InfoMarket and the opening ceremony in the coming year. These recordings are linked to the pictorial representation of persons present, whereby the selection of persons is partly random. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform the photographer accordingly.

Furthermore, if you do not agree with a specific publication that has already taken place, please notify us immediately with a precise reference to the image in question. In this case, the photo will be removed within a reasonable period of time and no longer published.

Programme offers for individual selection

Interdisciplinary events

In addition to the information on your degree programme/subjects, other basic information is important for a successful course of study.

Under the heading ‘Interdisciplinary events’, you will therefore find numerous programmes that provide you with important information. Some of these courses are relevant for the entire degree programme and therefore for all students, such as the introduction to the organisational platform ‘Stud.IP’, which you use to organise your studies.

Other events only affect individual target groups, such as the event on BAföG or studying with family responsibilities.

Research which interdisciplinary courses are relevant for you.

Events organised by the student representatives

The student representatives are students in higher semesters of your degree programme. They organise events where you can gain valuable insights, ask questions in an informal setting and get to know new fellow students.

What else is there to clarify?

Found a flat and now have to register/re-register your place of residence?

Here you will find information on registering your place of residence with the City of Oldenburg.

Please note that for most matters in the citizens' offices, an appointment must be made in advance.

The Oldenburg Citizens' Office also offers online services. The re-registration of your place of residence and the application for welcome money are just two examples that can be done quickly and conveniently from home.

So you finally moved in and you are looking for somewhere to eat?
