We are the Student Association (FSR) SEM | WCM | NÖK – the elected representatives of all students enrolled in the Bachelor's programme in Nachhaltigkeitsökonomik (NÖK) and the Master's programmes in Sustainability Economis and Management (SEM) and Water and Costal Management (WCM).
Together, we form a student body in which we, as the FSR, advocate for your interests, organise events and ensure that your studies are not only educational, but also varied and well-connected.

The work in the FSR is varied, as we are active in different areas:

• We advise those interested in SEM, WCM and NÖK as well as students and are the point of contact for SEM, WCM and NÖK lecturers.
• We regularly exchange information with those responsible for SEM, WCM and NÖK in order to further develop the degree programmes.
• We represent the interests of SEM, WCM and NÖK students, for example in the faculty committees, the Study Commission and the Admission and Examining Board as well as the Federal Conference of Student and Faculty Representatives (BuFaK WiWi).
• But we also have to have (a little) fun, which is why we organise FSR events such as the freshers' trip, student council parties and the orientation week.

We meet once a week – usually at the university, sometimes in a bar or outside if the weather is good. You can usually also participate online. During the lecture-free period, the dates may vary.

Just send us a quick message and we'll let you know where and when the next meeting is taking place so you can drop by. The official election takes place annually at the beginning of the winter semester as part of the student body general assembly
