Teaching with researched-based learning
Teaching with researched-based learning
The team at Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (Hochschuldidaktik) supports lecturers in implementing research-based learning within their school and their own courses. In addition to didactic advice around designing and implementing courses, the Teaching and Learning in Higher Education team creates a network for various stakeholders, organising and supporting exchange between lecturers.
Please refer to the courses and events calendar for more information (in German). The standard language of workshops is German. However, most of the services and workshops are available in English upon request. Please contact the Teaching and Learning in Higher Education team at [email protected] for further information.
Guidance on research-based learning
All lecturers are warmly invited to contact the team at Teaching and Learning in Higher Education if they have any needs for support regarding research-based learning. If you have specific questions, need suggestions or would simply like to discuss your teaching concept, the Teaching and Learning in Higher Education team is happy to help. Consultation appointments can be arranged at any time.
Teaching inspiration for research-based learning
The Teaching and Learning in Higher Education team has compiled a collection of didactic methods and learning activities that lecturers can use to implement research-based learning and support students. These methods are organised according to the typical phases of the research process.
Courses and events
The courses and events offered by the Teaching and Learning in Higher Education team in various formats – from two-hour to two-day seminars – cover the general basics of university didactic methods as well as topics specifically related to research-based learning.
These events offer the opportunity to plan and reflect on the preparation and implementation of teaching. Participants can also gain inspiration and tips on the didactic design of research-based learning by exchanging ideas with other lecturers and staff from the Teaching and Learning in Higher Education team.
