Overview over common methods; description of force field and quantummechanical (semiempirical, ab initio, density functional theory) approaches; structure of input files, keywords, discussion of results, exercises with semiempirical methods and selected problems; instruction to sensitive use of methods and ressources and to independent working with everyday problems
