Titouan Janod, exchange student from France, is following SuRE/EMRE courses and organised a 5-people 3-hour workshop to understand better scientific facts behind climate change.

Jigar Shah from India (EUREC 2019-20) presented findings of his ongoing MSc-research “Numerical simulation of ice accretion on rotating, coated airfoils” at EMFC-14, which took place from 13th to 16th September 2022 in Athens, Greece. 
Jigar is presently employed at IWES Fraunhofer in Oldenburg.

ForWind scientists Detlev Heinemann and Björn Witha work on determining and predicting wind flows for wind farms or larger regions. Thanks to such forecasts, amongst others, experts are constantly getting better at calculating wind yields.
