Review
The 15th Career Day, the Internship and Job Fair of the University of Oldenburg

Even in 2025, the exhibitors and visitors were able to look back on a successful day of the fair. Inspiring conversations around the topics of internship, work-study program, final theses and career paths took place at the numerous exhibition stands in the lecture hall center on the Haarentor campus. The representatives of regional companies were available to answer the students' questions.
The Career Day was opened by Professor Dr. Bruder, President of the University of Oldenburg, and Mr. Krogmann, Mayor of the City of Oldenburg. In their welcoming speeches, the President and the Mayor adressed not only the exhibiting companies, but above all the students as the future talents for the region. During a subsequent tour of the fair, Professor Dr. Bruder and Mr. Krogmann also took the opportunity to engage in dialogue with exhibitors and visitors and gain insights into the perspective of the exhibiting companies.
As in previous years, the offer of the exhibition stands was framed by a program consisting of creative application photo shoots, professional application checks and profile checks for LinkedIn profiles. New to the program were the panel discussions, in which alumni of the University of Oldenburg provided interesting insights into their entry into the profession, experts shared job application tips and science managers reported on their field of work.
