The universities of Oldenburg and Bremen are currently drafting a joint proposal for the title of University of Excellence, scheduled for submission in mid-November 2025. With this in mind, the FZN board has decided to dedicate our annual conference to strengthening collaboration with the University of Bremen in the field of neurosensory science.
For this project, it is particularly important to invite scientists specialising in neurosensory science and hearing research, both of which are official research focuses of the University of Oldenburg, to speak at the conference. This will enable them to engage in scientific exchange and generate new project ideas. We are pleased to announce that 11 speakers, including four from Bremen, have agreed to present their research topics to FZN members and PhD students from the relevant working groups.

The joint conference will take place on 1 October 2025 at the Hanse-Wissenschaftskolleg in Delmenhorst, running from 10:00 to 15:50.

Research projects can be presented at a poster session midway through the conference. Registration for the poster session is via email. Submitted abstracts will be published on the website.
