The Graduate Academy is the university's central interdisciplinary institution for the career development of doctoral students, postdocs and junior professors. An interdisciplinary qualification program with around 40 events and workshops per year is open to all academics in qualification phases of all faculties. The events teach various transferable skills relevant to the labor market and promote qualification in academic professional fields for different career paths (within and outside academia). The qualification program focuses on the development of the personal profile and the acquisition of interdisciplinary skills of doctoral candidates and postdocs in the sense of the European Competence Framework for Researchers. The University of Oldenburg is convinced that imparting subject-specific and interdisciplinary skills will provide you with optimal support for your future career path. Interdisciplinary skills are also taught to doctoral students from the participating faculties in the University's graduate schools 3GO and OLTECH.
