About us
The vision of the Department of Business, Economics and Law is to understand and proactively shape changes related to the field of sustainability-oriented and digital transformation as one of the leading German research locations in this field in business and law. In order to realize this vision, the department publishes internationally visible, socially relevant and influential cutting-edge research, acquires third-party funded projects, empowers decisions through evidence-based knowledge transfer, trains responsible scientists as well as managers, teachers and employees and supports start-up activities of companies through consulting.
Your tasks
- Teaching responsibilities (currently 5 teaching hours per week in accordance with § 4(2) No. 1 LVVO). This includes preparation, delivery, and follow-up of courses in the Institute of Law (Faculty II, Department of Economics and Law), particularly in European and International Economic Law
- Research responsibilities
- Administrative and organizational responsibilities within the Chair
Your profile
Recruitment requirements are:
- Completed university degree (Diplom (Univ.)/Master’s) in Law or a related field
- Doctorate in Law (Dr. jur.) with above-average results
- In-depth knowledge of European and International Economic Law
- Teaching experience and experience in supervising theses
- Demonstrated interest in international relations, preferably in the area of Global Health
- Experience in acquiring third-party funding and openness to interdisciplinary approaches
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
