Orientationweek WiSe 25/26

Welcome, dear students at the ICBM!

To make the start of your master's program as smooth as possible, your student council has put together an exciting program for the orientation week. During this time, you'll not only get to know the university but also your new fellow students :)!

For the orientation week from October 6th, 2024, to October 10th, 2025, we have compiled the following program points in a table for you.

Mensa meal together

Where: In front of the Mensa Haarentor (Uhlhornsweg 49-55)

We start the week with a meal together in the canteen. This is the perfect opportunity to get to know each other in a relaxed atmosphere and make initial contacts. The meeting point is at 12:00 in front of the Mensa Haarentor. Come along and let's have a relaxed lunch break together!

Campus tour

When: 13:00
Where: Haarentor (A14) to Wechloy

After eating together in the Mensa, we invite you to join us on an extensive campus tour. We will start at the Haarentor campus (meeting point: A14) and explore the route to the Wechloy campus together. This tour is ideal for familiarizing yourself with the most important places at the university and finding out interesting information about the campus.

The Infocafé MUWI offers you the opportunity to learn all about the sea and the environment. Take the opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas with fellow students and get valuable tips for your studies. Join us and make new contacts in a relaxed atmosphere!

Thursday

Infocafé Ummo (Thilo Gross)

When: 10:15 a.m.
Location: W15-0-023

The Infocafé Ummo is all about exchange and information. It is the ideal place to find out more about studying and everyday university life over a cup of coffee or tea. Details of the venue will follow, so keep an eye out for further information.

Game Night

When: 19:00
Where: Pinte42 (Schützenweg 42)

We offer a cozy games evening for all games enthusiasts. Whether board games, card games or other board games - there is something for everyone. Come along and spend a relaxed afternoon with lots of fun and nice people. Bring your favorite games with you!
