GesUK certificate

Click here for further information on the GesUK certificate.

An AAC certificate can be obtained at the Institute of Special Needs Education and Rehabilitation, which is recognised by the Gesellschaft für Unterstützte Kommunikation e.V. (GesUK, formerly ISAAC) as an introductory course certificate (ZEK). This introductory certificate in turn enables participation in advanced courses organised by the Gesellschaft für Unterstützte Kommunikation e.V. (Society for Augmentative and Alternative Communication).

The certificate is awarded to all students who regularly attend the specified courses in sop 212 and sop 465 and have their active participation confirmed with the signatures of the lecturers on the cumulative course result sheet for the certificate at the end of the respective semester. The attendance of certificate applicants is regularly checked in the courses. Checking attendance serves to ensure the quality of the certificate in co-operation with the GesUK.
