NUM Site Spokespersons
Tasks
One or two scientific site spokespersons should be appointed at each NUM site. They should support the site-specific pooling of scientific and specialist interests and needs and should work closely with the local staff units. The tasks and topics of the site spokespersons would be, for example, NUM-related scientific leadership at the site (e.g. participation in NUM projects, introduction of broad consent, interfaces to biobanks, DIZ, KKS), the further development of the NUM in new subject areas and the further development of NUM governance. The committee of site spokespersons will aggregate the perspectives across all sites in the NUM and serves as an advisory body for the NUM Coordination Office and the National Coordination Committee (NKA, formerly National Task Force).

Discipline- and Organ-specific Working Groups (FOSA)
The Discipline- and Organ-specific Working Groups (FOSAs) have the intention to support and promote (inter-)disciplinary exchange and communication within and between a wide range of medical disciplines.
In addition to the exchange with colleagues, the members of the FOSAs also have the opportunity to actively shape the NUM by commenting on data sets and applications, and by reviewing and assessing them. Furthermore, the FOSA spokespersons form the expert advisory board, which meets regularly and supports the development of the NUM on an interdisciplinary level.
FOSAs are open to all interested researchers. Youcan join an existing FOSA at any time or express your interest in founding a new one.
