Last July, two PPRE alumni, Prof. Gerd Heilscher (PPRE 1987-88) and Aakash Sharma (PPRE 2019-20), met up and talked about their PPRE experiences. 

Three of our PPRE alumni, Mr. Henry Wasajja (EMRE 2010/11), Dr. Al-Mas Sendegeya (PPRE 1999-2000), and Mr. Wisdom Ahiataku Togobo (PPRE 1997-98), met in Ghana.

Cody Hancock (SuRE Batch 2020-2022) from the United States is currently working as a research assistant with the DLR Institute of Networked Energy Systems in Oldenburg. His publication is an expansion on his master’s thesis work and focuses on optimizing the retrofit of German single family homes…

During his PhD at TU Delft, Rishabh Ghotge (EMRE 2015-16) founded a startup, Heliostrome, to develop the world’s first comprehensive software for designing solar irrigation systems.

Many PPRE-Alumni met at this year’s Intersolar, while representing their current companies.

M.Sc. Rebeca Ramirez Acosta (PPRE 2010-2012), from Panama, presented a Keynote lecture at the Energy System Stability 2040 and Beyond on the topic "Market Design and Systems Engineering for the National Energy Plan in Panama".
