Since the turn of the millennium, Experimental Philosophy (X-Phi) has emerged as a movement that draws on methods from empirically oriented sciences—such as experimental social research, empirical psychology, and experimental economics—to shed new light on classical (and contemporary) philosophical questions.

At The Oldenburg Experimental Philosophy Laboratory (OX-Phi Lab), we are particularly dedicated to questions of distributive justice, causation, and speech act theory.
