Employees can receive a personal company website that is assigned to the websites of their organisation. This personal website can be maintained in various ways (depending on the decision of the respective organisation):
- Central maintenance of the page by the office or similar.
- Maintenance by the person themselves within Stud.IP: The contact details maintained in Stud.IP as well as other profile information (user picture, specialisations, research interests, CV, publications, courses and other self-defined categories)
- Maintenance by the person themselves in TYPO3: If required, you will receive access to the central content management system TYPO3 CMS with authorisation to edit your own website.

Findability via university search
Persons can be found automatically in the central search https://uole.de/en/search if they have activated their data in Stud.IP for external display. An entry is then displayed in the search results under "People", whereby the data is retrieved from Stud.IP. A person can therefore control themselves whether they can be found publicly via the search. Within the university network or if logged in with the central login, the person can always be found.

Providing data via the cloud
It is not always necessary to have your own website, but it can be enough to offer files for third parties to download. The simplest method for this is to use the cloud. Files can be stored in personal cloud storage and shared with third parties in various ways (e.g. via a secret link or with password protection).
