Use of the Omnissa Horizon Client

No VPN connection is required to use the virtual desktop. Please call up the Omnissa Horizon Client directly via your Internet connection.

Start the Omnissa Horizon Client via the icon on the desktop or, if necessary, search for the "Omnissa Horizon Client" application under Start -> Search programmes/files and start it.

Starten Sie den Omnissa Horizon Client über das Icon auf dem Desktop oder suchen Sie ggf. die Anwendung „Omnissa Horizon Client" unter Start -> Programme/Dateien durchsuchen und starten Sie diese.
Es öffnet sich ein Fenster mit den für Sie verfügbaren Arbeitsumgebungen in der VDI. In der Regel ist dieses ein Pool mit Namen 'Windows 10' oder 'Windows 11'. Mit Anklicken starten Sie einen virtuellen PC, der nach kurzer Zeit von Ihnen verwendet werden kann.

The system can be closed by simply logging out or by holding the mouse pointer over the top edge and clicking on the close button in the menu that opens. You can also return to your real computer at any time by clicking on the minimise button.
