Lars Mohrhusen, head of the junior research group "Hybrid Catalysts" (project Su2nCat-CO2 SINATRA, funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space) was recently invited to talk about his academic appointment at the annual alumni event "Ehemaligentage" of KGS Wiesmoor, his former secondary school.
It was a great opportunity to share behind the scenes insights from his path into science, discuss what university study programs and schools have in common, and especially how they are different, and reconnect to the place where his journey first began. "Engaging with curious students and sharing personal experiences is a small but super meaningful way to help inspire the next generation of researchers. Many thanks to KGS Wiesmoor for the warm welcome and to all participants for the stimulating dialogue," says Dr Mohrhusen, summing up his visit to KGS Wiesmoor.
