Description

This lecture introduces core machine learning concepts and their implementation in scikit-learn. Topics include classification methods (k-NN, SVM, Random Forest), regression techniques (linear, polynomial), and clustering algorithms (k-Means, DBSCAN). Dimensionality reduction with PCA and t-SNE, model evaluation metrics (cross-validation, ROC, precision-recall), and preprocessing steps such as normalization and feature selection are also covered. Practical examples using Python and scikit-learn illustrate key methods and their application to real datasets.
