Three members of the Hybrid Catalysts Group recently attended the 38th European Conference on Surface Science (ECOSS), a great opportunity to share our work and connect with the wider surface science community.
Justin gave his first conference talk on his recent NAP-XPS studies, highlighting new insights into CO2-conversion on highly reduced rutile TiO2. Lars also gave a talk, focusing on model studies of our Ti-based 2D nanocatalysts and sharing results from recent experiments that deepen our understanding of titanium disulfide, a relatively little studied transition metal dichalcogenide. If you're interested and want to find out more, check out our recent publication on the topic here. Lastly, Fangliang presented a poster about his NAP microreactor, showing how he plans to bridge the gap between ultrahigh vacuum studies and more realistic conditions.
Thanks to the ECOSS organizers and community for a great week of science and exchange. We’re looking forward to building on the feedback from this meeting and coming back next year!
