Impressive experiments, tricky questions and great live music - guests at the Quiz Night x UOL on 18 October 2024 were able to experience all of this at CORE Oldenburg. To mark the anniversary, the Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg took over one of the regular quiz evenings there. The University's institutes, research topics and stdies were thematically explored in four rounds with different categories. The quiz teams were given an insight into the University's diverse topics and were able to win cool prizes. From our institute, Dr. Alexander Weiz (research associate in the field of inorganic chemistry) supported by Dr. Ingeborg Buschmann, an always welcome guest at the Institute, helped to solve the questions aksed during the quiz. 
Thanks to Alex and Ingeborg, who were once again able to show in this event and in their natural and impressive way how magical and yet tangible our subject is!
