How are business analytics changing controlling and lower-level decision-making?

As part of the Accounting Analytics master's course, we recently welcomed Dennis Onnen, Team Lead Business Intelligence at Orgadata, for an exciting guest lecture on the topic of business analytics. The presentation provided many insights into the role of business analytics in controlling and used numerous examples from everyday business life to show how data-based analyses can be used to support business decisions.

The lecture offered many valuable impulses for the application of analytical methods in the corporate context - a great opportunity for students interested in the interface between data analysis and management.
